Our Kitchen

Our kitchen at Polson Park Church in Kingston, Ontario, is available for community cooking classes, fundraisers, and food preparation for community events. Book it alongside our Fellowship Hall for dinners and gatherings.

Kitchen Access and Rates

Basic Kitchen Access (Included with Fellowship Hall Rental)

If you rent our Fellowship Hall, basic kitchen access is included at no additional charge for the purpose of serving and storing food. This includes use of:

​

• Countertops and stainless steel preparation surfaces

• The refrigerator and freezer for food storage

• Sinks for basic rinsing and tap water

 

Commercial Equipment Use ($20/hour)
If your event requires actual cooking, baking, heating, or automated cleanup, a separate Kitchen Rental of $20 per hour is required in addition to your hall fee.

 

This applies to any use of:

Equipment

• Six-burner commercial gas range with two ovens
• Flat-top griddle
• Commercial exhaust hood with grease filters
• Miele commercial dishwasher
• Refrigerator
• Freezer
• Coffee machine
• Stainless steel preparation surface

Kitchen Use Requirements

 

• For Equipment Users: If your rental includes the use of our commercial appliances, at least one member of your onsite team must hold a valid Food Handler Certificate. This individual is also required to attend a brief orientation on how to safely operate our kitchen equipment prior to your event date.

• Commercial Restrictions: Our facilities are strictly for community gatherings, fundraisers, and private events. The kitchen is not available for commercial food production, independent vendor use, or ongoing business operations.

• Approval: To maintain the care of our facility, all facility bookings are subject to final approval by the church administration.
