About Us

Polson Park Church is a Free Methodist denomination and home to a church family grounded in the Christian faith. We are dedicated to building community and sharing the good news of faith in Jesus Christ. We support believers through a life of ongoing transformation that will impact their families, friends and communities.

We are committed to celebrating, learning and following the teachings of the Bible and the life of the Spirit. We welcome God into our lives to shape our attitudes, thoughts and relationships. As Free Methodists we seek to support people in discovering a new life in Christ and to celebrate life with loving integrity.

Our church family is devoted to the biblical value that followers of a Christian faith are participants in God’s purposes. We are eager to serve and to help people realize how they can know God as well and serve in meaningful ways creating a positive transformative message to our world.

Polson Park Church is a dynamic, loving community that welcomes everyone into our church family.

Core Values

As a community of believers, we at Polson Park Church live by a set of core values that describe our attitudes, beliefs, and actions. Our mission and vision are built on these values, which also help to define our objectives and goals and provide a framework for decision-making and action. Our guiding core values are grounded on biblical principles and express our dedication to both our community and our faith. These principles, in our opinion, are fundamental to building a welcoming, encouraging, and mission-driven church community. At Polson Park Church, we strive to live out our fundamental core values in everything we do, so they are more than just words on a page.

Kingdom Directed

Prayer

Developing a heart’s cry for God’s presence and Kingdom to be more fully realized. It is birthed out of a passion to know God, see His face and experience His glory.

Our Core Values

Transformational Community- Where lives are changed

Journeying with each other in love and grace, we try to challenge and inspire each person to discover who they are in Christ and the specific purpose He has for them. We want to be a safe place for people to find acceptance and support as they move along in their journey.

Godly Servant

Leadership

Identifying and raising up godly, servant leaders is critical to us becoming like Jesus and having a Kingdom impact. These individuals are voluntary servants, who commit themselves to God’s purpose. They, out of love, use the gifts that are entrusted to them to serve others. They serve, in what they say and do, to help others become servant leaders and Christ followers.

Spirit Empowered,

Biblical Living

Learning to live in the Spirit and from a Biblical worldview is critical for the believer. We want to equip and encourage one another to develop those habits which create the context for our lives to be empowered and filled with the Holy Spirit. Together we want to grow in our biblical knowledge and understanding so it is the basis of our life practices.

Whole Life

Worship

Breaking past the confines of exclusive Sunday morning worship to living a life of faith and obedience in which our every word, thought, and action becomes a praise offering to God so He alone is glorified.
